Purpose: The Chancellor State College Commemorative Cookbook is a
tribute to the end of the preschool era and commemorates the 10th
anniversary of the school’s opening. Profits from
sales will go directly to purchasing learning resources for the new PREP
program commencing in 2007.
Sponsoring: Remember that sponsoring a page of the Cookbook (your family
members will be named as sponsors on the bottom of the page) is only $5 and
is a great way to get involved. If you would like to do this simply put $5
in an envelope along with the names of your family members that you would
like included in the footnote. Please don’t forget to write on the envelope
that it is for sponsoring a page in the cookbook! You can drop your
envelope into the preschool or into the school office.
Photos of Students:-
The cookbook
production team has been capturing photos of Chancellor State College
students learning about food, nutrition and cooking. We would like to
feature as many of our students within the cookbook as possible, and if as a
parent or carer you would not like your child to appear in print, please let
us know as soon as possible.

Submit a Recipe:-
To submit a recipe (deadlines
extended to 31 June) please email Michelle at
michelle@methodstech.com. At this point we especially need recipes for
soups, starters & dips, all varieties of main meals, including vegetarian
and seafood.
Advertising:-
If you are
interested in advertising within the cookbook, or know of a person or
business who may be, we now have comprehensive advertising packs available
to demonstrate the types and sizes of advertising space available. We are
expecting a wide circulation of Cookbooks throughout the families of the
1400 students attending Chancellor State College, and have had requests to
make them available to the wider community. Our initial print run,
available in October 2006, will be 2000 copies; and we will look at a second
print run early next year.
We have already
received support from many local celebrities, businesses and our elected
representatives (even Peter Beattie has submitted his favourite recipe for
our cookbook!), but we still have some advertising space available to
parents with local businesses. To obtain an advertising pack, please
contact Michelle Kazukaitis (michelle@methodstech.com)
or Fiona Towler. |
