The P&C Uniform
sub-committee operates the retail shop. They meet at 11.00am on the
Monday prior to each P&C Meeting in the uniform shop (P&C meetings are
held on the 2nd Wednesday of the month at 7.00pm or as
advertised in the newsletter). If you would like to be part of this
sub-committee please come along to a meeting or contact the shop (babies
and little ones are always welcome to come along).
Volunteers in
the shop are always appreciated! Many things need to be done – serving at
the counter to stocking shelves and unpacking orders or delivering orders
to classrooms. If you would like to help please call into the shop or
telephone us.
A limited number of
2nd hand items are available for sale. Remember you can
always sell uniforms through our shop – please call in or leave items with
your name and telephone details at the shop or with the administration
offices for forwarding onto the shop. 2nd hand items must be
clean and in good repair to appeal to customers. Donations of uniforms
are always welcome – these are used for emergencies.
Several order /
payment options are available. You may call into the shop and pay for
uniforms by Cash / Credit Card / Cheque (made payable to CSC P&C Assoc.)
or EFTPOS. Alternatively orders may be left with our wonderful office
staff at either the primary or middle campus. The uniform shop staff are
happy to deliver orders to students if you tick the appropriate box on the
order form (which may be downloaded). We are also happy to write the
students name on the item (one of our aims is to have all uniforms named
- especially hats and jackets). We are also happy to take telephone
orders.
A lay-by system
is also available where your items are packed and stored now and you can
pay them off before receiving the items. Regular payments are required
i.e., at least once every 2 weeks (except during school holidays). Many
people lay-by for the next year from August onwards especially when there
is a transition from primary to middle / middle to senior.
Our manufacturers
recommend the primary school polo shirt is washed in salt water prior
to wearing. We also recommend washing the middle school formal shirts a
number of times prior to wearing – this will soften the fabric.
We are happy to
exchange any item so long as it has not been worn, laundered or named. (Exchange
Policy)
The P&C Uniform
sub-committee are committed to making Chancellor State College uniforms
the ‘best they can be’. If you have any suggestions please
