The Lunch Action Program

reflects the school ethos and promotes the school vision and values.
It
has three aims:-

incorporating related ‘positive play’ skill development in the
Year 1 HPE program
targeting playground ‘hot’
spots
creating activity sites around the school.
|
|
Its objectives
are
To reduce the incidence of playground related behaviour problems
To provide a range of co-curricular and extracurricular lunch time
activities which complement and enhance student learning

High
Five - a problem solving strategy
The
High Five Hand is designed to give students a visual and physical prompt
to remember strategies to deal with bullying or harassment in the
playground.
Each strategy is taught individually and students
learn to use each skill in conjunction with the others to deal with
their own problems in a constructive problem solving way.
