The International Department at Chancellor State College has been in full swing lately. We welcomed 22 new students to our International Student Program across both Primary and Secondary Campus' which brings our total to 36.

Currently we have students from Brazil, Chile, China, Germany, Italy, Japan, Korea, Norway Taiwan and Vietnam. These students have been able to experience a variety of activities during the term including their first surf lesson and also a trip to Sydney.

We also hosted two Study Tour groups, Chong Ming Junior High School and Hou Jia Junior High School from Taiwan for 2weeks and Kuki High School from Japan for 1 week.

The Union Institute of Language (UIL) also commenced in week 2 of this term, bringing in students from all around the world to study an intense High School Preparation Program prior to commencing their High School studies at various schools around Queensland. We look forward to working closely with UIL over the coming years.
